Crawfish Fried Rice

Ingredients:

 

1 lb. fully cooked Crawfish tails. (Supreme Louisiana Crawfish is a great brand and available in most stores).

 

2 packs of 10.6 oz. Veetee Easy Thai Jasmine Rice.  (4 cups of leftover rice works as well).

 

2 eggs

 

1 cup frozen vegetable medley

 

3 Tbsp. Brushfire Farms Original Glaze

 

2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil

 

2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce

 

1 Tbsp. Chili Garlic Paste

 

1 Tbsp. Meat Church Lemon Pepper Seasoning

 

2 Tbsp. Cilantro (optional)

 

White Sesame Seeds for garnish (also optional)

 

½ Cup chopped Green Onion

 

Lime wedge to squeeze on top once served for extra acidity.

 

2 Tbsp. butter

 

 

Process: 

 

Step 1:  Preheat Griddle or Cast Iron Skillet to medium high heat.  In a measuring cup, combine Sesame Oil, Soy Sauce, Glaze and seasoning and mix well.

 

Step 2:  Butter skillet or griddle and rice and sauce mixture.  Cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

 

Step 3:  Add eggs and mix well together, then add crawfish, vegetables and cilantro.  Allow to cook for a few minutes and remove from heat.

 

Step 4:  Garnish with Green Onion, Sesame Seeds, a lime wedge and enjoy!!
