Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hr. 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 and a half hours
Yield: 12 – 15 servings
Ingredients:
3 cups Wheat Chex
3 cups Rice Chex (would prefer corn)
3 cups Cheez-its
2 cups Pretzels
2 cups Pecan
1 stick salted butter
1 cup Brushfire Farms Original Glaze
2 Tbsp. Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Jalapeño Rub
2 Tbsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire
Process:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 250° and line one large baking pan (or two medium sized baking pans) with parchment paper (this is key with the sticky mixture).
Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine Chex, Cheez-its, Pretzels & Pecans. Mix together and spread out over parchment paper.
Step 3: Bring a small to medium sized sauce pan to low-medium heat, melt butter and mix in Original Glaze, Jalapeño Rub and Worcestershire. Whisk together, remove from heat and pour over dry ingredients. Gently toss until evenly coated and Chex Mix is laid out flat on parchment paper.
Step 4: Bake at 250° for 1:15 minutes, gently mixing every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes, while stirring a few more times to prevent sticking to parchment paper. Serve them in a bowl or take them on the go for a great snack and enjoy!
