Brushfire Kiolbassa Bites

Ingredients: 

 

Two 4 ct. 12 oz. packages of Kiolbassa Mesquite Beef Smoked Sausage (8 links total).  Note:  Your favorite sausage links can work as a substitute. 

 

1 roll of Pillsbury Sweet Hawaiian Crescent Rolls

 

2 Tbsp. Brushfire Farms Original Glaze

 

2 Tbsp. melted butter

 

1 Tbsp. Everything Bagel Seasoning

 

Parchment Paper

 

For Dipping:  Brushfire Farms Pear Burner Jam or any of our products!

 

 

Process: 

 

Step 1:  Preheat oven to 350°.  Cut tips off sausage links and slice all links in half, so that you have 16 pieces roughly 2” in length. 

 

Step 2:  Roll out the crescent dough on a cutting board and gently press the pre-cut gridded lines or any holes together, making it basically one whole sheet of dough.  Cut sheet in half, and then cut 8 strips per half, roughly 1-inch across.  You’ll want 16 strips total.

 

Step 3:  Place sheet of parchment paper on top of 17 x 11 baking sheet.  Place piece of sausage at the end of dough strip, roll up and place on baking sheet.  Repeat for all 16.  Combine Original Glaze + melted butter and lightly brush each with Glaze mixture.  Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning and place in oven. 

 

Step 4:  Bake for 20 – 30 minutes or until crescent is golden brown.  (25 minutes worked perfectly for us).  Remove from oven, allow to cool for a few minutes.  Serve with Pear Burner Jam or any Brushfire Farms products and enjoy!
