Brushfire Farms is a small food manufacturing company based out of San Antonio, Texas, which produces only the highest quality products based exclusively on the Chile Pequin pepper. The Chile Pequin is a fairly common native pepper to South Texas and Northern Mexico, but unlike its jalapeño, habanero and serrano cousins are seldom used in the preserve or condiment world. Our excellent products are manufactured in small batches to ensure consistent quality.
In 2019, we won both National and International Awards for our Peach and Prickly Pear jams. That recognition has encouraged us by validating our use of a non-traditional pepper in the food market, as well as rewarding a lot of good ol’ hard work. We grow our own Peruvian Aji Limon peppers used in our Peach jam and handpick all of our prickly pears on several ranches across South Texas
